We're all about beach huts!

Council Representation

We are active in working with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council on beach hut related matters, and aiming to influence a fair deal for all Hut owners on topics including lease renewals, sea defences and security.

Security

Hut security is important to us all and we proactively try to combat hut vandalism & graffiti.

We raise awareness from our security signs and arrests have been made of persons damaging huts.

Keeping in Touch

We run an active members-only Facebook group to share updates on hut related topics, including security and weather related alerts.

The Association also issues regular newsletters to keep you up-to-date with everything you need to know to help you enjoy your hut and the beach.
